There are at least six artists who go by 'Yana': [1] Japanese vocalist yanaginagi (やなぎなぎ) who also goes under the name of nagi. Member of the SENTIVE sound production unit. [2] YANA is the one-man project of Jay Schleidt, commonly seeing collaborators joining the mix. Jay utilises drones, found sounds, samples, electronic blips and bloops, and a whole array of other attributes to make his lo-fi sound. Jay also runs the Darbolistic Rex media label, based out of Iowa.
