About William Echo
Moving to London at the end of 2006, William Echo was born into a cityscape. Used to the quiet confines of rural Somerset, London provided him with a renewed ambition to succeed in the music industry. He says of this move, "it definitely changed things for me; whereas before I had been used to playing in bands, used to others backing me up live, I was now on my own, fighting against a multitude of other acts with the same ambitions as me". Swimming against the tide, he decided not to follow in the indie and nu-rave trends of the day.
