The Shadowland were a nineties alternative rock band from Edinburgh, United Kingdom. comprising Lee Valentine James (bass, vocals), Rod Spark (organ, vocals), Dave Blair (guitar, vocals) and Gary Bonar (drums). Popular in post-mod circles in the early 1990s, their début album Kaleidoscope, came out in 1991. It was followed by the Smoke EP in 1993 and a a final stand-alone single, 'She', before the group called it quits,
