The Lunatunes was a Helsinki-based guitar oriented band that lived its heyday in the turn of eighties to nineties. First a Winner of the Soundi-magazine demo competition, then a favourite of critics and indie record-merchants alike, front page news in Estonia and live favourite of many, the Lunatunes ended up being an inter-Scandinavian / Nordic notable under Megamania record label. Ridden through its history by various band-members that were unwilling or unable to face the success that seemed always just a day away
