The Gossman Project Is the name of the first series recorded by the trio Mike McCready/Stone Gossard/Jeff Ament to begin the band, with time they would become Pearl Jam. While McCready, Gossard and Ament worked in the project of Temple Of The Dog, they began to record a series of songs during August of 1990. Matt Cameron, drummer of Soundgarden then, contributed with drums in ten of the songs, whereas Chris Friel, drummer of the Shadow group (from where McCready came) contributed in other two ("Times of Trouble" and "Black")
