The Fencemen are getting older. They are a musical four-piece who take their tea in Lansing, Michigan, in-between raucous bouts of guitars, drums, multiple voices, organs, and bass, with the occasional accompaniment of horns, tambourines, and foot-stomps. Their latest release is Times Are Alright, a self-released exercise in the exploits of used-up, hollow individuals in hollow modern environs. The Fencemen are Jared Nisch, Mike Reed, Dan Jaquint, and Tyler Blakslee. They have been stomping their feet and clapping their hands since late 2010.
