The have been two bands that recorded as The Earthlings. 1. Tardcore/surf band, signed to Brown Bear Records 2. Obscure British mid-sixties instrumental group in the vein of The Tornados (though not produced by Joe Meek). Released a single "Landing Of The Daleks / March Of The Robots" in 1965 that was banned by the BBC because it included an S.O.S. Morse Code signal, which was deemed to be potentially "confusing to shipping" if broadcast on the radio. Hurriedly reissued with an amended version of the Morse Code signal.
