About The Cigavettes
Hailing from Fukuoka, Japan, The Cigavettes consists of brothers Kanji (guitar) and Masayuki (vocal) Yamamoto, Ryota Todaka (drums), Mitsunori Shinozaki (bass) and Junnosuke Oda (guitar). The band has been active since 2006 and has two releases on independent labels - 2007's Taste of the Sun mini-album and 2008's Out of the Race EP (re-released with promotional DVD in March 2009). Their single Out of the Race was also included on the 2009 compilation album Under Construction-rock'n'roll revival from Tokyo!!!-.
