Shir Mohammad Espandar the well known nel ( a kind of reed ) and donely player and the baluchi singer was born in 1931 in bampoor a town in the province of and baluchestan of iran . he began to learn how to play musical instrument of nel from age 10- he was thought by jamal shah the well –known player of doneli . he participated in many festivals . his skilful and good playing introduced his musical instrument to the world . Shir mohammad espandar is the only person in iran and the world who plays doneli .
