Red Hill Town (Nijmegen, The Netherlands) is a Dutch rock/roots band that was formed in the fall of 2008. It consists of three musicians: Jasper Rijk (lead vocals, guitars), Tijn van Lange (bass, vocals) and Isabel Poyck (drums, vocals). The name of the band refers to their hometown, which is commonly seen as a leftish (red) city. The U2 song Red Hill Mining Town is another inspiration. They describe their style as American rock mixed with elements of acoustic pop, classic songwriters (like Neil Young, Tom Waits, etc.
