Boston cult-faves Pooka Stew ruled the Boston club scene for much of the 90's. Known for their drinking and wild behavior as much as for their solid rock stomp, Pooka Stew, like their idols The Replacements, could be either the best or worst live band you'd ever seen -- sometimes on the same night. Alcohol-fueled beyond their ability to survive, Pooka Stew left behind a full-length CD, an EP, a basketful of awards, a record label in receivership, and a lot of hard feelings.
