About Paradise Regained
The band met at Purdue University, Fall of 2004. Matt Holbrook (Acoustic Guitar) and Adam Rutherford (Drums) started jamming together, both having a heavy interest in Dave Matthews. Jon Micklos (Bass), Brook Xiao (Violin/Piano), and Jimmy Winn (Electric Guitar) stumbled across the band through friends, facebook and just hearing the two play together. The band became known as Paradise Regained, and started playing shows at multiple events across campus throughout the year.
