About Oh Voices
The Oh Voices story is a familiar one; from their humble beginnings in Queens, NY to their untimely collapse somewhere on the shores of Portugal... it all started out in a room full of refurbished toilets. It was here, in the back of a toilet repair shop, where they had first met and recorded the bulk of their material. They had originally planned to be a Phish cover band and play rest stops across the country. Seconds later, they realized that the only good thing that came out of Vermont was: a) maple syrup and b) Miranda July.
