Neven was mainly an instrumental band, mixing electronic beats and grooves with acoustic percussion, guitar, double bass, sometimes brass, didgereedoo, and all kinds of instruments the musicians could lay their hands on. Neven was founded by Peter Clasen in 1995 as one of the first Trip-hop bands in Belgium. Neven soon was discovered by Indie label Lowlands. First releases were 'Recycle-age' and 'Twin Cycles'. Neven was an exciting live band , combining weird but danceable electronics with real musicianship.
