Mars Hill formed in Charlottetown, PEI back in 2003. They now call Montreal home having made the move in late October of 2006. The Mars Hill soundscape includes ethereal keyboards, thick bass lines, jazzy drums and climatic trumpet which gives the band a psychedelic 1967 Venice California vibe while the vocals drag the band's sound through Jack kerouac's New York and George Harrison's Rishikesh. Their first album 'Oxcart', was released in October
