
The Mailer MacKenzie Band was a rock band from The Hague, The Netherlands, active from 1970 to 1973 and featuring former members of (The) Haigs, The Motions, Boots and Big Wheel. They released five singles and and two LPs between 1970 and 1973: Mailer Mackenzie Band (1970) and Deeper (1972). Début single, 'Red Rover', was a minor hit in The Netherlands. Their first records were released internationally, by Decca/Fontana in Europe and Ampex in North America.
