About Love Dictators
The Love Dictators were formed in May 2003 by Curt Marcucci, Gabe Ransenberg (Manaconda, Plasma Drive, Electric Desert) and Johanna Añonuevo (The Mascots, M.O.T.O., Fucking Werewolves, Wretched Pin-Ups) in Chicago, IL. The original line up had Curt on vox and bass guitar, Gabe on guitar and Johanna (2003-2004, 2006-2008) on drums. The majority of the songs were written by Marcucci, a huge fan of Mötley Crüe and Hanoi Rocks, among other bands.
