Cutting her performance teeth in theatre and choir while growing up in Dallas, Kathleen Braun first picked up the guitar in high school to keep up with her folk singer-guitarist mother and multi-instrumentalist older brother. Honing her original tunes since college citing influences like Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, and Whiskeytown, the developing singer songwriter has been refining her sound in Austin area establishments like The Red Eyed Fly, Ego’s, and Antone’s.
