About Karin Hammar
Karin Hammar is a celebrated jazz trombonist and composer from Sweden, born 1974 in the northern town Boden in Sweden. As a solo artist and frequent soloist in smaller ensembles, she has toured the world including the U.S., Brazil, France, and South Africa among other places, and has worked with international jazz stars such as Kenny Werner, Tim Hagans, Steve Swallow, Gary Burton, Bob Brookmeyer, Maria Schneider, and Nils Landgren. Karin studied at the Royal Conservatory of Stockholm between 1994-1999
