About June at the Apollo
Band members include: Chris Freeman (of Hot Mulligan), Charlie Grace (fats'e) and Matt Cox (of Super American). The band was originally conceived in 2022 by Chris and Charlie while they were roommates, with a placeholder name “the Carry Ons”. The project was put on the back burner until 2024; Matt and Chris were making music with a similar vibe as the Carry Ons so Chris decided to combine the two duos together. The name comes from Chris, who came up with the name in High School but never used it.
