
The John Faye Power Trip was a Wilmington, Delaware-based power-pop band formed in the late 1990s. The band was formed from the ashes of The Caulfields, who released two critically-acclaimed albums for A&M in the mid-1990s and scored one moderate hit with the song "Devil's Diary" (commonly referred to as the "Bigger Than Jesus Song"). Caulfields lead vocalist and songwriter John Faye partnered with Starbelly singer/guitarist Cliff Hillis to create the John Faye Power Trip
