About Jody Wayne
South African vocalist who lives in Johannesburg. Born in Bangalore, India to Canadian parents. The family later moved to Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia). Jody moved to Durban, South Africa in 1964 and formed the band “Little Jo & The Travelers”. After their break-up 18 months later Jody formed “Jody Wayne Scene” which later became “Guys & Dolls”. In the 1970s he started producing and 'discovered' artists such as Barbara Ray, Gwynneth Ashley Robins, Neil Herbert and The Stockley Sisters.
