Jay-R is the most promising male RnB phenomenon that ever hit the local music scene. Gaudencio A. Sillona III, popularly known as Jay-R, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He was 2nd year college, taking up Computer Engineering, in Devry University in L.A. when he decided to come here and fulfill his dream... to become a singer. He was once a part of a group named FI (First Impression). The group consisted of 5 guys namely: Mike Gabriel, Alex Bacani, Jayr Sillona, Jimmy Martinez (who came with Jay-R to Manila) and Owen Amurao.
