
Jack O’ Fire were a blues-rock combo from Austin, Texas assembled by guitarist and bandleader Tim Kerr, a veteran of several eclectic punk bands including Big Boys, Poison 13 and The Monkeywrench, which also featured members of Mudhoney. Largely active between 1992 and 1995, Jack O' Fire also featured vocalist/mouth harpist Walter Daniels (formerly of Blood Sucking Go-Devils), bassist Dean Gunderson (formerly of Seattle band, Cat Butt) and drummer Josh LaRue (who had played in a number of bands including Rain Like the Sound of Trains
