About Faxriddin Sodiqov
Faxriddin Sodiqovich Sodiqov (Russian: Фахриддин Садыкович Садыков; Born September 8, 1914 in Tashkent, died November 27, 1977 in Tashkent) was an Uzbek musician, composer and teacher of shashmaqam. He played the chang (Uzbek dulcimer) and dutar. His name is romanised in various ways: Fakhritdin Sadikov, Fakhruddin Sadikov, Fakhriddin Sodiqov, Fakhriddin Sadiqov, etc. In 1929 he graduated from Tashkent School for classic music, in 1946-1948 he studied classical composition at the preparatory fin.
