About Desart
DESART is a Stonerrock-Trio from Southwest-Germany that was formed in 2006. The members are Kay Gebhardt (Vocals, Guitar), Dennis Kirsch (Bass) and Klaus Braunecker (Drums). After forming the band they began rehearsing in a small basement room and spent the first year writing songs. Their main influences were bands like Kyuss, Fu Manchu and Lowrider, but they developed their own unique sound in a short time. After they had about 10 songs written, they played their first live gig in 2007.
