
Cameron Mizell is a jazz guitarist born on October 30, 1980 in St. Louis, MO and now living in Brooklyn, New York. Since 2005, he's fronted a jazz/funk organ trio featuring Brad Whiteley on keyboards and Kenneth Salters on drums. Mizell's style has been described as a combination of the groove and sparse playing of the Meters' Leo Nocentelli with a more modern harmonic approach. His list of influences include Bill Frisell, The Meters, John Scofield, Grant Green, and James Brown.
